ICU and the Japan ICU Foundation (JICUF), an organization located in New York City, offer extensive financial aid options, including a wide range of scholarships subject to the nationality, need and merit of the recipient. The majority of JICUF scholarships For International Students are earmarked for students with financial need from economically underdeveloped countries.

The majority of ICU aid is awarded after enrollment, but notification of much JICUF financial aid is made either at the time of acceptance, or after acceptance but before enrollment. ICU is committed to providing opportunities to qualified students regardless of their economic situation, and all financial aid questions should be directed to ICU.

Many of the scholarships above amount to approximately $8,000 per year, which will be paid to the recipients in Japanese yen for 10 months (equivalent of $800 per month).
